Avraham Chayim Chesin

Hazzan Avraham Chayim Chesin was born in 1924, sixth generation in Jerusalem, and passed away in 2018 in Jerusalem. He earned his Cantorial training with Shlomo Zalman Rivlin. Hazzan Chesin was the last Hazzan in Chorvat Rabi Yehudah HaChasid in the Old City in Jerusalem. He served as a Hazzan in the New York Congregation, at the Rechov Hatishbi Synagogue in Haifa, Nostrand Ave Synagogue and Congregation Israel of Kingsbay to name a few.
